The AMD Athlon II M300 was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in September 2009. It is part of the Athlon II lineup, using the Regor architecture with Socket S1G3. The Athlon II M300 has 1024 kB of L2 cache and operates at 2.0 GHz. AMD is building the Athlon II M300 on a 45 nm production process. With a TDP of 35 W, the Athlon II M300 is relatively power-efficient for a mobile processor. AMD's processor supports DDR2 memory with a single-channel interface, with a maximum supported memory speed of 1600 MHz. This processor lacks integrated graphics, so a discrete graphics card is required for display output. The Athlon II M300 does not support hardware virtualization, which may limit its use in virtualized environments. The processor comes with a cooler included in the box. This CPU was designed for budget-friendly laptops, offering basic computing performance for everyday tasks.
